(ISN) – PENTICTON, BC – The Penticton Vees Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce their third annual Anti-Bullying / School Challenge night presented by Sendero Canyon Saturday, February 21st, when the Vees host the Alberni Valley Bulldogs at the SOEC.
When the Vees play the Bulldogs, they’ll be wearing their Sendero Canyon pink Anti-Bullying jerseys, which will be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis in the Vees “Blue Zone” team score on the following Monday.
Already over one thousand students and parents from School District 67 will be attending the game on February 21st and the Wiltse Elementary School choir will be performing “O Canada” prior to puck drop. Wiltse will also have a special performance planned for the second intermission.
Also fans will have the chance to compete for $10,000 in the Sendero Canyon Skills Competition in the first intermission. Three lucky fans will be randomly selected to compete in an on ice skills competition where one person will have the chance to take home $10,000.
Fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing pink on Saturday, February 21st, as part of the campaign to stand up against bullying.
