The Chargers women were slow to start in today’s contest against the B’Cats but picked up the pace in the 2ndQ to steam ahead to a 56-48 victory and advance to 9-10, while CBC slides to 3-16. Fourth-year guard Ella Goldschmid (Mt. Doug) hit the high for Camosun with 15 pts, 2 rebs and 2 assts. Second-year wing Emma Cunningham (Spectrum) had 8 pts and 5 assts.

The Chargers men pick up their second win of the weekend to improve to 8-11 and the B’Cats slide to 2-17. Third-year point guard Kaz Kobayashi (Oak Bay) led with 17 pts and 1 asst. Fan favorite, Hassan Phills posted 15 pts, 6 rebs and 4 assts.

The Chargers BBALL teams hit the road next week to take on Quest and CAP in their final games of the regular season!
