Ottawa, Ont. Feb 24, 2015 — Canadian dressage riders Leslie Reid and Joni Lynn Peters earned impressive results against top performers at the Mid-Winter Dressage CDI-W, held Feb. 20-22 in Burbank, Calif.

Leading the Canadian results was Reid of Langley, B.C., who successfully competed on two mounts in the Small Tour division. Paired with Fine and Smart (Fuerst Piccolo X Worldman), an 11-year-old Westphalian gelding owned by Juliet Sears Ledorze, Reid finished sixth in the CDI-W Prix St.

Georges with a score of 68.368% on Feb. 21. They followed up with a fifth place finish in the CDI-W Intermediate I (68.868%).

Riding Landor (Largow X Tamara), a nine-year-old Zangersheide gelding owned by Deryol Andrews, Reid took seventh place in both the CDI-W Prix St. Georges (67.342%) and CDI-W Intermediate I (68.105%).

Peters of Armstrong, B.C. rode her 15-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, Travolta (Olympic Ferro X Landwind II), to an eighth place finish in the CDI-W Grand Prix on Feb. 20 with a score of 67.3%.
