(ISN) – Matt Serratore scored a pair of goals, including the game winner in overtime as the Penticton Vees evened up the Interior Division semi-final with a 3-2 win over West Kelowna Wednesday night.

The Warriors took a 2-0 lead into the final period thanks to goals from Nick Rutigliano and Andrew Johnson in the middle frame, but could not hold the lead.

Serratore scored just 1:21 into the 3rd period before Demico Hannoun added a power-play marker to tie the game up.

Fans didn’t have to wait long for the game winner to be scored as the shot eluded Scott Patton along the ice and into the goal.

Patton made 44 saves in a losing effort, and was named 2nd star for the second consecutive night.

The series now shifts to West Kelowna for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Saturday. The Warriors will have pre-game courtyard parties with live music, food, and games so come on out early.
