Molten and the CCAA Extend and Enhance their Partnership

The CCAA has renewed its agreement with Molten which extends their role as the Official Volleyball of the CCAA through the 2018 National Championships.
The Molten V5M 5000 has been the Official Volleyball of the CCAA since the 2011-12 season and the company’s support and involvement with the CCAA and its members is evolving.

Molten will continue to provide Volleyballs for the CCAA National Championships and Marketing Incentive Program but have also agreed to supply hosts with BKF Series Ball Carts and their popular mini volleyballs for prizing and giveaways. Molten will also now be providing V5M 5000 Volleyballs for Conference Championships to CCAA members who use the ball for regular season play.
“Molten is excited to announce our continued partnership with the CCAA,” said Molten President, Melissa Dawson. “Molten and the CCAA share the vision of providing the highest quality sports equipment to student athletes throughout Canada, and additionally, we share common goals and philosophies when supporting the growth of the sport. As such, we look forward to continuing our relationship with this outstanding organization and its membership.”
With the 2015 CCAA Volleyball National Championships set to begin on March 12th, Holland College, as the hosts of the Men’s event, will be conducting a contest for the participating teams with support from Molten. Through the “Marooned with Molten” promotion Holland will provide athletes with Molten Volleyballs which can be “personalized” and then used to document their experiences in Charlottetown. The athletes will be asked to upload photos of their time on the Island with Molten to social media. A winner will be selected and presented with a prize pack from Holland College and Molten on the final day of the Championship.
Athletic Director Albert Roche and his team have put in a lot of thought and effort toward providing a unique experience for the athletes that will soon be visiting their hometown. “We have a creative group here at Holland College, so when we saw an opportunity to add profile to a long-standing partner such as Molten we couldn’t resist,” states Roche. “Furthermore, social media combined with the energy of the incoming student-athletes provides this contest with a great platform for added promotion and fun for everyone involved in our event.”
The 2015 CCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championship will be hosted by Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI, March 11-14.
The 2015 CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship will be hosted by Cégep Édouard-Montpetit in Longueuil, QC, March 11-14.
The CCAA is a national sport organization enriching the academic experiences of student-athletes through intercollegiate sport.
