(ISN) – PEORIA, Ariz. –D.J. Peterson hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 9th inning to score Ketel Marte sending the Seattle Mariners to a 4-3 win over the Cleveland Indians Monday afternoon in Cactus League play at Peoria Stadium. Marte led off the inning with a triple to the right field gap.

Starting pitcher Taijuan Walker recorded 4 strikeouts in 3.0 scoreless innings and Brad Miller hit a pair of home runs to highlight the victory improving the Mariners to 4-3 in spring training play.

Walker allowed a leadoff single in the first inning, but induced an inning-ending double play, and faced the minimum 9 batters in his second start of the spring. He threw 33 pitches (25 strikes) while recording a no-decision. LHP Tyler Olson (1.0 IP, 3 K’s), LHP David Rollins (1.0 IP, K), RHP Richard Vargas (1.1 IP, K) and RHP Mark Lowe (1.0 IP, 3 K) contributed scoreless relief outings.

Miller hit solo home runs in the third and fifth innings, both onto the right-center field berm. Mike Zunino also hit a solo home run in the 5th inning. Second baseman Chris Taylor went 2-for-2 with a double.

Yan Gomes hit a 2-run triple in the 6th inning and Brandon Moss hit a game-tying home run in the 7th inning to lead the Indians at the plate.
