Elk Grove, California – The UBC Thunderbirds men’s golf team finished fourth at the third annual Sacramento State Invitational at the Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove, California.

16 teams and 20 individuals took part in the 54 hole event at the par 72, 7.064 yard course.

The hosts from Sacramento State won the event with an impressive team score of -10 (854). Pacific finished second at +3 (867), followed by Seattle University in third +18 (882), and UBC in fourth +22 (886).

Sacramento State’s Luke Kristo shot a final round -6 (66) to win the individual title with a 54 hole total score of -8 (208).

Evan Holmes was the top Thunderbirds player finishing tied for seventh at +2 (218). He finished with his best round of the day Tuesday, a two-under 70.

Conner Kozak also closed out the event with a two-under 70. He finished in a tie for 16th at +4 (220).

Scott Secord ended up in a tie for 28th at +8 (224). Trent Abraham finished at +11 (227) and in a tie for 46th and Nate Ollis rounded out the team in a tie for 63rd at +15 (231).
