Kevin Hill adds World Cup bronze, continues excellent season

This Saturday’s World Cup snowboard cross is done, with one medal for Canadian rider Kevin Hill.

Hill won bronze Saturday in Veysonnaz, Switzerland. The world championships silver medallist from earlier this year was beaten by Spanish winner Lucas Eguibar, and Russian Nikolay Olyunin.

Hill, 28-years-old, also won X Games gold in January of this year (photo below), so 2015 is going well for the Vernon native.

Hill’s only other World Cup medal was back in 2013, a bronze in Montafon, Austria.
