(ISN) – PEORIA, Ariz. – The Mariners had their mini two-game Cactus League winning streak come to an end, falling 5-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-1 Sunday afternoon in front of a sold-out crowd of 13,055 at Peoria Stadium.

Seattle falls to 6-7 in Cactus League play heading into tomorrow’s off day.

Starting pitcher Roenis Elias (0-1) was touched for 6 hits and 2 runs in 3.2 innings to record the loss. Relief pitchers David Rollins (1.1 IP, 2 K), RHP Danny Farquhar (1.0 IP), LHP Tyler Olson (1.0 IP, H) and RHP Justin Germano (0.1 IP) recorded scoreless outings.

Right fielder Nelson Cruz went 2-for-2 with a walk as the lone Mariners player with a multi-hit game. Catcher Mike Zunino recorded a double to extend his spring hitting streak to six consecutive games.

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw (2-0) picked up the win allowing one run in 3.1 innings. The reigning National League MVP and Cy Young award winner allowed 1 run on 4 hits in his outing, walking 3 and striking out 3.
