Max Siskind nets four goals, Towson secures 9-8 win against Binghamton

VESTAL, N.Y. — It was a career day for Max Siskind, who started his first game of the season for No. 16 Towson. The redshirt senior buried four goals while linemate Ryan Drenner finished with a hat trick, lifting the Tigers to a 9-8 win against host Binghamton at Bearcats Sports Complex.

The non-conference win was Towson’s sixth of the year, the second time in the past four years the Tigers have won six regular season non-conference games and improving head coach Shawn Nadelen to 21-15 in non-league games.

Siskind scored back-to-back goals midway through the fourth quarter to break the game open, which ended 6-6 at the end of the third. Joe Seider tacked on a marker with 2:54 for security before Binghamton made it a 9-8 game with 29 seconds left.
