VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Vancouver Canucks will pay special tribute to the Vancouver Millionaires on the 100th anniversary of the team’s Stanley Cup championship when the Canucks host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, March 26th.

To highlight and commemorate this special occasion, the evening will feature:

 Canucks players wearing Vancouver Millionaires full replica jerseys

 Special storytelling of the championship team throughout the night, including in-game profiles on the Patrick brothers and Fred “Cyclone” Taylor

 A commemorative magazine for each fan in attendance

 30% off all replica Millionaires sweaters and other Millionaires fashion apparel at the Canucks Team Store

The Vancouver Millionaires captured the city’s first Stanley Cup on March 26, 1915 by defeating the Ottawa Senators 12 to 3. The Millionaires swept the Senators in their best of five Stanley Cup series, outscoring their opponents 26 to 8 over three games in the 10,500 seat Denman Arena built by Frank and Lester Patrick at the corner of Georgia and Denman. Fans are encouraged to help celebrate the anniversary by wearing their vintage Millionaires jerseys and apparel to the game.
