77 WHL graduates are on National Hockey League rosters

(ISN) – Calgary, AB – The Western Hockey League is proud to announce that 77 WHL graduates are on National Hockey League (NHL) rosters as the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin today.

The Vancouver Canucks lead the way with eight WHL graduates on their roster heading into the post-season. The Ottawa Senators and Washington Capitals each boast seven WHL Alumni.

The WHL continues to be a leading supplier to both the NHL and Canadian university hockey while the WHL Scholarship also saw 328 graduates attend post-secondary and career-enhancing institutions this year.
