(ISN) – The Victoria Jr Shamrocks and Nanaimo Jr Timbermen played a pre-season game last night in Chemainus at the Fuller Lake Arena.

The game got off to a lopsided 10 – 2 start for the Rocks but about half way through the game the T-Men got their legs and started a come back.

Final score was 14 – 11 for the Rocks in what turned out to be an entertaining game.

The Rocks will play their younger brothers, the Intermediate Shamrocks, in an intersquad game next Tuesday the 21st at the Q Centre, if you want to come watch there is no charge, game will start about 7:15.

First game for the Jr Rocks is Sunday the 26th at 500 Q Centre when the New Westminster Salmonbellies are in town.
