Geoff Goodman to take the reigns as Posse GM & Head Coach

(ISN) – The Princeton Posse Junior Hockey Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Geoff Goodman as the General Manager and Head Coach going into the 2015-2016 KIJHL season. Geoff has agreed to join the Posse organization following 2 successful seasons as the Assistant Coach of the Osoyoos Coyotes including a 2014-2015 campaign which saw their squad lose only 7 games through the whole regular season.

Prior to his years in Osoyoos Geoff spent a number of years successfully developing young talent through out the Okanagan minor hockey system which culminated with a Penticton Midget Tier 2 Provincial Championship in 2013.

“This hiring has been made not only with great confidence for our organization but also our league” says Director of Hockey Operations, Randy McLean. “We feel that Coach Goodman’s ability to bring a blend of business professionalism to our organization and a care and understanding to the future of our young players makes him the perfect fit to moving forward for the Posse and the league. Our organization has always prided itself on having an excellent ability to combine entertainment for our fans and teaching talented players what is needed to not only succeed at our level but those above as well. We are elated to know we have Geoff leading us further into our team vision.”

Coach Goodman will take over the roles and responsibilities effective immediately as he and the rest of the Posse Hockey Operations staff look to build off of the teams 4th place finish in the challenging Okanagan Division of the KIJHL.
