COLUMBUS, Ohio – A win in the women’s 400-meter shuttle hurdle relay and school records in the women’s sprint medley and distance medley relays highlighted the final day at the 2015 Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, for the Ohio State track and field team.
Boosted by a strong first leg by junior Alexis Franklin, winner of the 400-meter hurdles on Friday, the Buckeyes crossed the finish line in a time of 54.35 seconds to claim victory in the shuttle hurdle relay. Junior Jasmine Glover, senior Alexandria Johnson and freshman Chantel Ray joined Franklin in defeating Purdue, Nebraska and Northern Iowa.
Redshirt junior Aisha Cavin, sophomore Aaliyah Barnes, junior SoSo Walker, and senior Katie Borchers earned a runner-up finish in the sprint medley relay in a school-record time of 3:47.87, nearly four seconds faster than the previous record set at the 2010 Drake Relays.

Berger, Weber and Borchers combined with Franklin for the previous record time of 11:31.05, set last season at the Drake Relays.
