The Kelowna Rockets and Portland Winterhawks have headed for Portland to continue the WHL Western Conference Final this week after the two teams split the opening two games of the series on the weekend in Kelowna.

The Rockets won game one Friday before Portland bounced back on Saturday night to even the series 1-1. Both games were decided by just a single goal with each team earning a 3-2 win.

Games three and four of the series are Tuesday and Wednesday nights in Portland.

The split in Kelowna confirmed the series will be back at Prospera Place for game five this coming Friday night.
