Western Speedway hosted round two for the Lordco Auto Parts Demo Series with the Demo Cars, Demo Trucks, Figure 8s, and the Bombers with Trophy Dashes, Heat races, and Feature events that included a combined Demo Car and Demo Truck Feature. Trophy Dash wins went to Joe Liberatore Demo Cars, Billy Stidston Demo Trucks, Don Hallgarth Bombers, and Trevor Cannon in the Figure 8 Series. Heat race victories included Joe Liberatore Demo Cars, Billy Stidston Demo Trucks, Brian Baltis and Don Hallgarth Bombers, and Kyle Ridley and Rhett Szevics in the Figure 8s.

Stephen Green and Ryan Lewis led twelve cars to the green flag for twenty laps of racing for the Figure 8 Feature event. This race produced lots of hard hits and passing for the leads. Many cars wound up hitting the front stretch wall on turn one and two. Rhett Szevics held the lead for a bit and so did Sean Robinson. When the dust settled Brandon Young came out with the win followed by Trevor Cannon, Kyle Ridley, and Szevics rounding out the top four positions.

Tony Kambo and Brian Baltis shared the front row for the start of forty laps of racing in the Bomber Series Feature event. Don Hallgarth winning the Dash and his Heat earlier made it clear he wanted to add a Feature win to his resume running side by side with Baltis after just three laps. By lap five he gained the lead by and started to put distance between himself and the rest of the field. On lap nine the yellow came out as Sam Lagan dropped the driveshaft out of his machine and it had to be cleared. On the double file restart, Hallgarth had Sean Whitley on the front row for the resumption of green flag racing. Hallgarth got the best jump and went back to the lead as Whitley entered the pits with a flat tire. On lap eleven the yellow came out again and this time Hallgarth had Tristin Gait on his outside. This start only lasted one lap when the yellow came out again as Brian Wakelin, Jarrod Soberg, and Rich Gerhardt all got together on turn four. Again Gait lined up outside of Hallgarth for the resumption of green flag racing with Hallgarth quickly taking the lead. Hallgarth moved into a big lead while Gait had a comfortable space between himself and Baltis running in third. Hallgarth cruised to a clean sweep in the Bomber Feature followed by Gait, Bill Gallagher Jr, and Baltis rounding out the top four positions.

Craig Holfeld and Brandon Young led eleven cars to the green flag for a combined Demo Truck and Car Feature event. Billy Stidston and Joe Liberatore were both in a position for a clean sweep as both drivers were victorious in their earlier Dashes and Heat races and, in fact, Joe accomplished a clean sweep on opening night and entered this race with five chequered flags in succession. Holfeld and Cody Young got away early and ran first and second respectively. By lap six Holfeld still led but had a very fast Kenny Baker on his tail. On lap ten the yellow came out as Ashton Campbell’s truck had to be pulled from the track on turn four. For the restart, Baker had Billy Stidston on his bumper recovering from an early slow down while Smokin Joe Liberatore had worked his way to the rear bumper of Cody Young running in third. Two laps later the yellow came out again for another stalled vehicle. This allowed Stidston to close right in on Baker while Joe now closed in on Jim Young after taking out Cody. When they dropped the green flag again, Stidston took out Baker, Joe did the same to Jim each taking the lead for their respective class. Joe Liberatore led the field to the chequered flag followed by Billy Stidston, George Haywood, and Kenny Baker. So far Liberatore is undefeated for 2015 with two clean sweeps under his belt.
