FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola has reached Edmonton



The FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola has reached Edmonton, Alberta, the host city for the opening FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ opening match just three weeks away.

The two-month, 12-city tour kicked off 1 April in the nation’s capital of Ottawa. The events were free to the public, giving Canadians a rare chance to get up-close-and-personal with the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy. The tour is in Edmonton from 16-18 May, then in Calgary, Alberta from 22-24 May next week.

The first ever tour of the official FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy included several interactive and engaging elements, as well as surprises along the way – all in the spirit of setting the stage for what is anticipated to be the largest live spectator sporting event in Canada’s history and the biggest FIFA Women’s World Cup™ to-date.
