Jr. Rocks Get Road Win in Langley

The Jr. Shamrocks got an impressive 8-4 win on the mainland Sunday against the Langley Thunder.

The Rocks held period leads of 3-0 and 7-3 on their way to win. Max Fredrickson, Matt Hamilton and Cole Pickup each had a pair of goals for the Rocks with singles coming from Ryan Lewis and intermediate ‘A’ Shamrock call-up Dylan Rehman. Charles Claxton had another very strong outing in goal with 38 saves. Next up for the Jr. Rocks is another road game as they travel over the Malahat Tuesday, May 19 to face the Nanaimo Timbermen. Game time at Frank Crane Arena is 7:00 pm. They return home next Saturday to host the Burnaby Lakers in a 5:00 pm start at the Q Centre.
