Jr. Rocks Fall to Adanacs

The Jr. Shamrocks went into a Sunday game against the Coquitlam Adanacs hoping to win the series with a second win against the perennial league leaders but they fell 10-6 to the Adanacs and fall to 6-3.

The game was close throughout as the Rocks trailed just 7-6 after 40 minutes but Coquitlam rattled off 3 unanswered goals in the final period to gain the win. Ryan Lewis led Sunday’s effort with 2 goals and 1 assist. Max Fredrickson and Nick Preston also had 3-point nights with 1 goal and 2 assists and 3 assists respectively. Other goals came from Cole Pickup, Jake Cullen and Zac Christianson. Next up for the Shamrocks is a home game next Saturday, May 30 when the New Westminster Salmonbellies come calling at the Q Centre. Game time is 5:00 pm.
