Plenty of action for Victoria roller derby fans with three bouts scheduled this weekend
March 29th, 2015, Victoria B.C.: Three Eves of Destruction teams will be front and centre in a jam packed weekend of roller derby in the Capital Region.
It all starts Saturday, May 30th, with the Eves’ junior team, Rotten Apples taking on the Stone Cold Stellas of Comox, followed by the main event, Belles of the Brawl versus Terminal City’s Public Frenemy of Vancouver. All the action takes place at Esquimalt’s Archie Browning Arena with the juniors taking that track at 5:30 p.m. and the Belles / Public Frenemy game at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online, or at Logan’s Pub, Hive Hair, and at Archie Browning Arena. It is a family friendly event – kids under 10 are free (with an adult – maximum 2 kids).
The Eves won’t be finished with Terminal City’s Public Frenemy after that as the Margarita Villains have challenged the visitors to face them in the league’s inaugural “Hangover Bout”, taking place at Archie Browning Sunday, May 31st at 10:30 a.m. Admission to this bout is by donation.
