Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA), in partnership with FISA, will be conducting a development training camp for emerging Pan American rowing nations at the London Training Centre (LTC) in London, Ontario.
The camp will start on June 25th and will run until July 5th at which point the camp participants will move to St. Catharines, Ontario, site of the Pan American rowing regatta, which begins July 11th.
The camp will be held at Fanshawe Lake with participants using the facilities at the LTC with support from the London Rowing Society.
“RCA has worked closely with FISA to finalize logistics for the camp and FISA will be sending two coaches to work with the group,” explained Peter Cookson, High Performance Director for RCA.
The camp is financially supported by FISA’s Development Program and by the TO2015 organizing committee.
Participating nations include El Salvador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Nicaragua, Peru and Guatemala. An estimated 35 athletes, 10 coaches and 2 FISA coaches will be in attendance.
