June 22, 2015, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Coquitlam Adanacs thumped the Victoria Shamrocks 16-3 in Junior A lacrosse action Sunday in Victoria.

It was hard to recognize the Jr. Shamrocks team that took to the floor Sunday to face the Coquitlam Adanacs as the same team that beat second-place Delta just a day earlier.

The Rocks got down early and managed just one goal per period as they were outplayed, outrun, outmuscled, falling by a score of 16-3.

The Adanacs have just one loss, that to the Shamrocks early in the season.

Cole Pickup, McLean Chicquen and Matt Hamilton scored for the Rocks.

The result leaves them in third place, with 20 points, 2 behind Delta and 2 ahead of New Westminster who hold a game in hand.

Next action for the Jr. Shamrocks is next Saturday, June 27 at 5:00 pm against the Langley Thunder.
