Intermediate Shamrocks made it 2-for-2 on the weekend

The Intermediate Shamrocks made it 2-for-2 on the weekend with a third straight blowout as they defeated the Burnaby Lakers 23-5 on the road Sunday to follow up a home floor 20-4 victory against Richmond Saturday.  Next game for the Intermediates is next Saturday at1:30 when they will host the Coquitlam Adanacs at the Q Centre.  Game time is 1:30 pm.

Meanwhile the Jr. Shamrocks picked up 3 of a possible 4 points with a commanding 17-7 victory, also in Burnaby against the Lakers Sunday.  That came on the heels of a 9-9 tie against Langley Saturday at the Q Centre.  Leading the Shamrocks offensively in Sunday’swin were Matt Hamilton, Max Fredrickson and Cole Pickup each with a hat trick and Pickup throwing in 7 assists as well for a 10-point night.  Ryan Lewis and Jake Cullen each contributed a pair of goals.  Next up for the Jr. Shamrocks is a mid-week encounter against the Nanaimo Timbermen who will visit the Q Centre Tuesday for an 8:00 start.
