The two-day event, hosting teams from across Canada and the USA, is considered by many to be a world-class event featuring top youth players in age categories U14-U18 Elite.  Twenty-two teams are slated to hit the pitch in pool play this year, in what will sure to be an entertaining weekend for fans looking for some fast-paced rugby action.

With the seven-aside game taking stage this year at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, players have all the incentive to step up their game, with future sights on a chance to represent their country.

The tournament, in it’s third year running, will feature a two-day packed schedule of games starting with a 33 game pool play opening day at Wallace Field on the campus of UVic starting early on Friday morning.

On Saturday, Centennial Stadium will act as center stage for continued pool play along with Wallace Field in a busy day of rugby, offering spectators the chance to get their fill with another 42 action packed games to take in.  Championship finals matches will take place center stage at Centennial Stadium, with U14 Bowl Finals starting at 2:00pm.

Last year, the North Shore U17 team took over all title claiming the U18 Open Division championship with a 40-5 win over another B.C. squad in Valley West.
