Junior Rep Rugby
Most of us have the summer off from rugby, but Velox has quite a few members playing rep ball as well! Tanner Holland and Niki Belyea are on the BC U19 squad that just won the national title at the Canadian Rugby Championship in Regina. BC won all 4 of its matches, including the final against Ontario (11-8).
I’ll have more names for you by next week, as other squads get announced. Feel free to pass details along to me if you have them.
The Velox Legacy Fund has a new contributor: Mark Wyatt. What’s the Legacy Fund? Read below!
With the move to the Westshore we are moving to a different era where we will no longer have significant bar revenue. Please help us build an endowment fund that will support the growth of the club for generations to come. All donations are tax deductible and can be made simply by providing your credit card information through the Canadian Rugby Foundation website and direct donations to the “Westshore VV” fund through the “donate now” button on the main page.
We have a goal of 50 donors donating 20 a month or 240 a year tax deductible. Whether retired, a student or working we believe this is an affordable amount. Please join the Legacy club.
