Jr Shamrocks GM Rod Wood Steps Down

The Victoria Jr. Shamrocks Lacrosse Association announce the retirement of General Manager Rod Wood, after six years in the position with the Jr. Shamrocks, and four years with the Intermediate Shamrocks.

Rod has indicated to the Association that he feels now is a good time for him to step away from the General Manager position to allow someone new to come in with fresh ideas. Rod also stated that he will continue to be active in the game, however, he is just not sure exactly in what capacity at this time. In the meantime, Rod will continue to assist with the General Manager duties in the transition period until a new General Manager is appointed. At the moment, we do not have a replacement and therefore we will be soliciting applications from interested parties.

On behalf of the Victoria Jr. Shamrocks Lacrosse Association, I would like to thank Rod for his exemplary services over the years and wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
