When the Neely Cup concludes on August 30, the action will move from the ice to the pavement.
For the second consecutive year, the Winterhawks are hosting the Toyota Family Fest outside the Winterhawks Skating Center on Sunday, August 30 from Noon – 3 p.m.
Toyota Family Fest is a free celebration to kick off the start of hockey season. Fans will be able to take on Winterhawks players in street hockey as well as get autographs and photos with them. There will also be rides on the team’s Fanboni, inflatable bounce houses, food and much more.
Toyota will also be on site with some of their newest vehicle models and will have Winterhawks prizes to give away.
“Last season’s Toyota Fan Fest was a big success, and we’re looking forward to growing the event this year,” said Portland Winterhawks President Doug Piper. “It’s a great opportunity for fans to meet and interact with the players in a fun, festive environment.”
