Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks are pleased to announce that the club will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rogers Arena in the 2015.16 season. The celebration will include many fan-favourite athletes, artists and iconic moments on select nights throughout the season, including the return of the retro black skate jersey on February 13th when the Canucks face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
More exciting details will be released on Canucks.com and Twitter (@VanCanucks) in the coming weeks. “Rogers Arena has provided twenty years of fun and extraordinary moments and we’re excited to celebrate its rich history with Canucks fans this upcoming season,” said Victor de Bonis, Chief Operating Officer, Canucks Sports & Entertainment. “It continues to serve as the premier sports and entertainment venue in British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest.
