GVH Pitching association will hold the BC Championships

Horseshoes at its finest in BC will be on display at Glanford park when the local Victoria club host the BC Championships.

 
98 players will play in  Mens, Ladies, Elders and Junior Divisions. Play starts saturday morning and continues till late sunday afternoon.  
 
All the defending champions will be here with  Ladies champ Elyse Brunelle (Burnaby)  Elders champ Jerrry Melissa (Victoria) and Mens champ Tom Moffat (Victoria) competing.

Come out and watch ad see that there are divisions for all levels of play.  first year players compete with players at same skill level.  
 
Its a great sport to play and watch and is one of the most economical sports out there today for the budget conscience sports person. 
 
Horseshoes is not just a backyard or camping sport players play at Victoria horseshoe club year round.
 
Next year Victoria will hold the Canadian Championships in August.
This year the Canadians were held in St. Stephen New Brunswick and 4 players from Victoria attended.
Dalton Moffat age 11 came 3rd in the Junior age group, Tom Moffat came 3rd in the Mens B division .  Ben MacMullen finished 5th in the Elder F division  and Guy Chaisson competed in the Elders E division.
