Duncan, BC – After a successful pre-season, the Cowichan Capitals are set to open up the 2015-16 BCHL regular season at home this Friday, September 11th hosting the Victoria Grizzlies at the Island Savings Centre.
It’s the second straight season the Capitals host the Grizzlies for the home opener, looking to repeat last year’s initial win. The addition of veteran Storm Phaneuf makes for a formidable goaltending duo.Following Friday’s home opener, the Capitals host the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Saturday night and the Powell River Kings the following Friday before attending the Bauer BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack September 26th and 27th.
