EDMONTON, ALTA. – The Edmonton Oil Kings have traded 19-year-old forward Brandon Ralph to the Everett Silvertips Tuesday in exchange for a 2016 fourth round pick, general manager Randy Hansch announced.
Ralph, a native of Ft. Saskatchewan, is heading into his third full season in the Western Hockey League. The 6-2, 191-pound left winger had 13 goals and 8 assists in 114 career games with the Oil Kings and also appeared in 11 playoff games for the club.
“This move opens up some playing time for some of our younger players while also giving Brandon a fresh start with Everett,” Hansch said. “We’d like to thank Brandon for his time with the Oil Kings and wish him well in his continued career.”
Ralph was a member of the 2014 WHL Championship and Mastercard Memorial Cup championship team.
