Prince George, B.C. – With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we are in a giving mood! That’s why the Prince George Cougars in conjunction with the Prince George Salvation Army have announced an exciting ticket initiative.
Starting today and running through Friday, October 9th we are inviting fans to drop off non-perishable food items at the Prince George Cougars office (Located at #102 – 2187 Ospika Blvd South in Prince George). Those who donate food items will have the opportunity to buy tickets to either of our next two weekend home games (October 9th and 10th against the Tri-City Americans) at an incredibly reduced rate of $16.50 (plus tax) for adults and $12 (plus tax) for youth 18-and-under. That’s not all. Anyone who donates food and purchases a ticket to either of our next two games will receive a free popcorn at the game and will also be entered into a draw to win a ride on our FANBONI that same weekend!
“We have a responsibility to our community to give as much as possible and this initiative is truly a win-win for all involved,” said Prince George Cougars Vice President, Andy Beesley. “It feels good to give, and we want to reward our awesome fans for doing that by giving them a great price on a ticket to our games, and also the chance to win a ride on our FANBONI, which is an unbelievable experience I can assure you.”

There is never a wrong time to donate to those in need, and you would be amazed at the positive effect that a promotion like this can have on our community. The Prince George Cougars office is open Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This offer and food donations will be accepted until 4:30 PM on Thursday, October 8th.
