This game was all Barsby from the opening kickoff. John Barsby from Nanaimo looked more organized and executed their plays with far more efficiency. This was the first regular season game for both teams, hosted by Spectrum. Barsby’s #23 Colin Nutting had a excellent game with many runs for some big yards and TD’s. Another standout for Barsby was #33 Dominic Bertrand who also had several runs for TD’s. Barsby ran away with this game 58-0.

Spectrum on the other side of the ball had a rough game getting in sinc with one another. Spectrums #9 Taymen Wright had a strong game making tackles and running with the ball. Spectrum’s QB #4 Chris Starck also played well. Carlos Jimenez Spectrum’s #28 had some decent runs with the ball but just couldn’t break away from many tackles.

Barsby’s next game is against NDSS Oct 8th, which should be a good crosstown rival for these two Nanaimo team. Spectrum’s next game is Oct 7th vs Ballenas at Spectrum School.
