Victoria’s first televised game this season set for November 20th at Vancouver

Victoria, BC- The Western Hockey League (WHL) and Shaw TV announced they will be broadcasting 36 regular season games on the cable network this season. The Victoria Royals will be featured in three of those contests.

The Royals will first be on the air on Friday, November 20th in Vancouver versus the Giants. Puck drop that evening is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The WHL on SHAW will also broadcast a pair of Royals’ home games on January 15th against the defending WHL Champion Kelowna Rockets and February 9th vs. the Edmonton Oil Kings. Puck drop for both contests is slated for 7:05 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.


Friday, November 20, 2015 @ Vancouver Giants, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, January 15, 2016 vs. Kelowna Rockets, 7:05 p.m.

Tuesday, February 9, 2016 vs. Edmonton Oil Kings, 7:05 p.m.

The WHL and Shaw TV will announce their broadcast schedule for six additional regular season games at a later date in 2016.

Victoria will also continue their six game home stand with a back-to-back home series against the Kamloops Blazers on Friday and Saturday night. Puck drop for both games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
