Canada Men’s U-23 Team picked up three points through a 3:1 win over Panama on their second day of the CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Kansas. With the win, Canada moved up into second place in Group A behind leaders USA, the perfect hosts who have six points after two matches.

Michael Petrasso, Skylar Thomas and Ben Fisk were the goal scorers as the Canadian team overcame the 10-man Panamanian team.

“Our team suffered through a performance the other day (against USA) and there was not enough time to regenerate,” said Canada’s head coach Benito Floro. “We played against a good (Panama) team with several good players. Perhaps we can consider the result in this game as good luck.”
