Kelowna, BC— The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack baseball team won 1 of 3 games at Elks Stadium against Okanagan College.
The score of the first game was 10-7 for the Okanagan College Coyotes.
Regan Gillis (Fort McMurray, AB) recorded the loss from the mound. He gave up twelve hits, seven earned runs, walked two and struck out two over four innings.
Ethan Mohan (Calgary, AB) went 2-4 with a home run and four RBI.
Evan Douglas (White Rock, BC) went 2-4 with a RBI.
In the second game of the day, Dillon Ferguson (Kirkland, WA) threw a complete game shut out for the ‘Pack. Over seven innings, Ferguson gave up only two hits, walked three and struck out seven.
Solid hitting from his teammates supported Ferguson’s efforts from the mound. Tony Tabor (White Rock, BC) went 2-4 with a double and two RBI.
Ethan Mohan also went 2-4 with two RBI.
The WolfPack dropped the nightcap 6-3 to the Coyotes.
Mike Gilfillan (Kamloops, BC) was the losing pitcher. Over five innings he gave up five hits, two earned runs, walked seven and struck out five.
Anthony Grouette (Calgary, AB) went 1-3 from the plate with a double.
Tyler Hodder (Fort McMurray, AB) went 1-3 with a double and two RBI.
