VICTORIA, B.C. — The Victoria Grizzlies have found their scoring touch, and a four-game winning streak is the evidence.
Defenceman Jake Stevens had two goals and two assists — his four points matching his uniform number — to lead the Grizzlies to a convincing 7-3 win over the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings on Sunday afternoon at the Q Centre, in a game played in front of a season-high crowd of 1,087.

Single goals game from captain PJ Conlon, Keyvan Mohktari and Tyler Welsh, with Brayden Gelsinger assisting on three goals and Kevin Massy chipping in two assists. Jake LeBrun had two goals for the Spruce Kings, with Bryan Basilico scoring a late goale for Prince George.
The Grizzlies (7-12-0-2) have jumped into a position to contend for the division title with continued strong play, and the upcoming road schedule will be a test — Tuesday in Powell River, then a three-in-three weekend with games in Coquitlam, Merritt and Trail, followed by a road date in Nanaimo. The next home set for the Grizzlies is a Thursday/Friday combo with Trail and Cowichan Valley in Victoria, November 19-20.
