Capitals Host Annual Teddy Bear Toss

Duncan, BC – The Cowichan Capitals are excited to partner with the Cowichan Valley Citizen to host the team’s annual Teddy Bear Toss coming up next Friday, December 11th at 7:00pm against the Wenatchee Wild.

All fans are encouraged to bring a new or slightly used stuffed toy to the game, all of which will be tossed onto the ice following the Capitals’ first goal. The toys will be collected and donated to local charities benefitting those in need this holiday season.It’s a long-standing tradition the Capitals are proud to continue as one of many efforts to support various groups within theCowichan Valley.It promises to be an exciting evening as the Wild pay their first ever visit to the Island Savings Centre as the newest franchise in the BCHL and the first to be located in the United States in 20 years.Tickets are available now at the Cowichan Ticket Centre by calling 250-748-7529.Help fill the Big Stick in the stands and with stuffed toys on the ice!
