Canada’s National Sledge Team defeats Italy 5-1 in its second preliminary game at the International Ice Sledge Hockey Tournament.

Adam Dixon (Midland, Ont.) picked up four points (two goals, two assists) for the Canadian squad, while Billy Bridges (Summerside, P.E.I.), Bryan Sholomicki (Winnipeg, Man.) and James Gemmell (Quesnel, B.C.) all scored in the victory. Corbin Watson (Kingsville, Ont.) picked up his first win of the tournament in goal for the Canadian contingent.
