Saturday, Dec. 19
Team Canada West vs. Russia – 4 p.m. ET (gold medal game at Cobourg)
“Not the result we were looking for, but we left everything on the table last night against Canada West. I couldn’t be prouder of the 22 guys we had here for two weeks, they did everything they could. We knew it was going to be tough against the Americans; with three games in three days and the emotional rollercoaster last night it was going to be tough to bounce back.”
– Jason Clarke, head coach, Team Canada East
“We left it all on the line last night; we emptied the tank there. We just couldn’t bear down and bury a few. We have nothing to be ashamed of. Any time you put the logo on your jersey is an honour.”
– Grant Cooper (Cornwall, Ont./Cornwall, CCHL), Team Canada East
The gold-medal game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT and will be broadcast by TSN and RDS, the official broadcasters of Hockey Canada – check local listings for details.
