KENT, January 4, 2016 – Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced the team has acquired defenseman Bryan Allbee from the Kootenay Ice for a fifth round pick in the 2017 Bantam Draft.
“Allbee brings us WHL experience and adds to our team as a puck moving defenseman,” said Farwell. “He has played a lot of power play in the past and is a good addition to our group on defense.”
Allbee, in his second season with the Ice, has four goals and six assists for 10 points. In 88 career games with Kootenay Allbee has seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points. Allbee played in seven playoff games with the Ice last season but did not register a point.
