James Linde Wins 200m At Washington’s Indoor Preview

SEATTLE – Trinity Western’s James Linde (Coquitlam, B.C.) finished first in the 200m at the University of Washington’s Indoor Preview in what was the Spartans first meet of the 2016 season Saturday.

Linde crossed the line in 21.93 to nab top spot. Earlier in the day, Linde was also the Spartans top finisher in the 60m, crossing the line 13th overall in 7:02.

The Spartans Adam Marshall (Langley, B.C.) also had a strong season-opening day, finishing 10th in the 1000m in 2:28.51 before helping the Spartans 4x800m team to fourth place in 7:54.97.

Nathan George (Coquitlam), who has typically competed in the 300m indoors, ran in his first 600m event, crossing the line 16th overall in 1:21.60.
