Mark Donnelly, Mr. O Canada himself, will sing the national anthem at the CJHL Prospects Game happening Tuesday at South Surrey Arena.
Well known to hockey fans across the country for his many appearances prior to Vancouver Canucks games at Rogers Arena, Donnelly has also performed at many Junior hockey venues including several in the BCHL. He is perhaps best known for his performance in Penticton ahead of the Vees 2014 home opener.
For Donnelly, he will truly working to home-ice advantage Tuesday night as he is a resident of the South Surrey area.
The CJHL Prospects game pits Team East against Team West as the Top-40 NHL Draft-eligible Junior A players in Canada show their skills.
There are nine BCHL players that will play for Team West.
Puck drop is 7:05 p.m. at South Surrey Arena.
