An interesting round of games coming this weekend. There will be no games taken for granted.
QF #1 – Prospect Lake Div 2 will have their hands full with the defending Jackson Cup Finalists of last year.
Saanich Fusion is nursing a couple key injuries – might be enough of an opening for PL – but will be tough regardless.
QF #2 – A rivalry that has been ongoing for several years. These 2 teams match up well, and Nanaimo always gives Cowichan a run for their money.
Will take a special day to knock off the defending champion Cowichan squad.
QF #3 – Nanaimo Div 2 has been a surprising story this year. At times they look like division winners, at other times – a regular Div 2 team.
Bays Utd Div 1 is coming off an emotional 120’ win over Gorge. If they take this team lightly, the reds will come away with a win.
QF #4 – Giant killers Westcastle Div 1 are still riding high after a huge upset over the #2 ranking Comox team last round. They struggled over the bigger part of the year, but obviously know how to play.
Lakehill Div 1 has personnel issues as they have been riddled with injury over the bulk of the year. If they are able to have a decent showing – this will be an exciting match to take in.
