LAS VEGAS – United World Sports, LLC announces sponsors for the 2016 USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament, its flagship event, scheduled for Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas March 4-6. HSBC will serve as both tournament and series title sponsor and DHL will continue their global sponsorship of USA Sevens for the sixth-consecutive year.
USA Sevens will be broadcasted live for the sixth-consecutive year on NBC and NBCSN. Benefits of the sponsorship for each partner consist of extensive social media promotions, permanent logos on and surrounding the field, jumbotron messaging, in-broadcast signage and unforgettable hospitality experiences.

Additional 2016 USA Sevens sponsors include California Almonds, CallidusCloud, returning as a fourth-year sponsor and also confirmed as a sponsor through 2019, Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort & Casino, returning as a fourth-year sponsor, Aria Hotel and Casino as the VIP Hotel, Wynn Hotel as VIP Hotel, Luxor and Excalibur as fan hotels and SLS Las Vegas recently signed as the official Nightlife Hotel, and Westgate Las Vegas Resort, serving as presenting sponsor of the Las Vegas Invitational amateur rugby tournament.
In addition, HSBC will be the first-ever title sponsor of the USA Sevens Adopt-A-Country Program in partnership with the Clark County School District (CCSD). The program pairs 16 CCSD elementary and middle schools with a team participating in the 2016 USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament, garnering attention with HSBC for its international education and ambassadorship while incorporating hands-on lessons and values designed around the school’s “adopted” country. HSBC is dedicated to fostering the legacy of rugby through investing in the growth of the sport globally from around the world for the event.
International teams competing in the 2016 USA Sevens tournament include: Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, Fiji, France, Japan, Kenya, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Samoa, Scotland, South Africa, United States and Wales. Rugby sevens offers a fast-paced, thrilling variation on traditional rugby with two seven-player teams battling in 14-minute matches where the action never stops, allowing for entire tournaments to be played in two or three days.
