Prince Albert SK – The Prince Albert Raiders wrapped up their home schedule on Friday night and honoured their best with the annual player awards on ice at the Art Hauser Centre.

In a pre-game presentation, the Century 21 Lionel Diehl Hardest Working Player Award was given to team captain Tim Vanstone.  The second award handed out before puck drop went to Rylan Parenteau, who was named the Parkland Ambulance Humanitarian of the year.

The remainder of the annual awards were handed out following the game.  The awards presentation was highlighted by Reid Gardiner and Parenteau, who split the Prince Albert Co-op Most Valuable Player Award.

Parenteau was also the winner of the newest team honour, the Source for Sports Players’ Choice Award. Voted on by his fellow teammates, the award is given to a player that embodies perseverance and determination in all areas of his game. This player shows all qualities of a “True Raider” both on and off the ice with leadership integrity and an incredible work ethic.
