WolfPack Ready To Begin Season at Home

Kamloops, BC – After months of practice, preparation, and countless number of exhibition games, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack Baseball team is ready for their Home Opener of the 2016 Canadian College Baseball Conference (CCBC) season.

The ‘Pack’s home opener weekend kicks off on March 26, at Norbrock Stadium. The team will face the Okanagan College Coyotes at Noon and the Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs at 6pm.

The final games of the weekend will take place on Sunday March. 27th.. The ‘Pack will play Prairie Baseball Academy at 10am and Okanagan College at 4pm.

“Opening day is a date I’ve had marked on my calendar for a long time now,” says senior second baseman/outfielder Tony Tabor. “All the guys are super excited to finally get the season going, and to be able to start the season at home is always a treat after being on the road the past couple weekends,” Tabor adds.

The WolfPack is well prepared and will take the momentum from their last two exhibition game wins onto the diamond, in hopes for a strong start to their season.
