SHEPARD AND ZAZULA RETURN HOME

Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers have returned 15-year-old forward Jackson Shepard and 15-year-old defenseman Luke Zazula back to their hometowns.

 

Shepard played this season with the Vancouver NW Giants in the B.C. Major Midget League. He had 13 goals and 42 points in 37 games this season. The 5’8” and 165lb native of West Vancouver suited up in two games with the Blazers as an underage player this season.

Zazula played this season with the Delta Hockey Academy Midget Prep team. He had 26 points in 29 regular season games. The 5’8” defenseman helped his team win the Canadian Sport School Hockey League Championship. Zazula saw action in three games this season as an underage player with the Blazers. He picked up one assist.

With the move, the Blazers roster is at 24 players including three goaltenders, seven defensemen and 14 forwards.
