2016 Season Brings Hometown Beers and Ciders to Blue Jays Fans

TORONTO, ONTARIO, April 4, 2016 – The Toronto Blue Jays are pleased to welcome Mill Street Brewery to Rogers Centre to provide some of Toronto’s favourite beers and ciders to fans at Rogers Centre™. 

New additions to the 2016 season line-up include Mill Street Brewery’s Original Organic, 100th Meridian, Tankhouse Ale, West Coast IPA and other Mill Street seasonal specialties, as well as Brickworks Ciderhouse’s Batch: 1904 and Queen Street 501 ciders. 

“The inclusion of Mill Street and Brickworks brands on the roster of beverages available during Blue Jays games is great news for fans,” said Stephen Brooks, Senior Vice President Business Operations, Toronto Blue Jays. “We’re really looking forward to seeing great Toronto craft beverages enhancing the hometown atmosphere at Rogers Centre.”

The brands will be available at select concessionaires and kiosks beginning at the home opener on April 8th.

“We’ll be showcasing the best of our portfolio with a range of styles and highly unique season specialties to offer a full craft experience to Torontonians,” said Mill Street’s Brewmaster Joel Manning.   “Mill Street was born and bred on the Blue Jays’ home turf, so Rogers Centre feels like a natural place for us to be, bringing great Toronto beverages together with great Toronto baseball.”
